James Huston Johnson
James Huston Johnson is a poet, Old Catholic Priest, and Chinese Martial Artist who lives in Mineral Point, Wisconsin in the summer and Port Aransas, Texas in the winter. James is married to Janice Johnson who is a professional watercolor artist. James holds an A. A. Degree from Waldorf College, B.A. and M.A. Degrees in English Literature from Minnesota State University a Masters in Theology and the Arts from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and a Doctor of Ministry from Laud Hall (St. Paul Theological College). James is a priest serving the Old Catholic White Robed Monks of St. Benedict. He is a retired Kung Fu instructor. James has loved poetry since he was a small boy, he has taken many writing classes frlom various people and has been a journaler for four decades. His poetry reflects the events and experiences of his daily life both past and present. His theory of writing is simple, if it sounds good, it probably is.
